About Us

Welcome to the Friendship Knot Quilters’ Guild!

The Friendship Knot Quilters’ Guild (FKQG) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1984 by a group of Sarasota, Florida quilters.

The objectives of FKQG are:

To promote education in all areas of quilting.
To sponsor and support quilting activities.
To encourage quilt making and collection.
To enhance the knowledge of quilting techniques, textiles, history of patterns, and quilt makers.
To promote fellowship, mutual aid and common interests.
To contribute to the community through quilt donations, presentations, and displays.

Our meetings are held the third Monday of the month, except for December. Doors open at 6:00pm for social time. Meetings in July and August are held via Zoom.

Meeting time: 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Admission: Free to members; $5.00 non-members
